A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides.

There are many different types:

-Square: with four equal sides and four right angles

-Rhombus: with four equal sides and equal opposite angles

        

-Rectangle: with four right angles and two pairs of opposite equal parallel sides

         

-Parallelogram or rhomboid: With opposite sides that are parallel and equally long

  

 -  Trapezium: with one pair of parallel sides

        

- Trapezoid: other quadrilaterals
