Linear equations with two unknowns
You can always reduce a linear equation with two unknowns to this form:
For example 3x – y = 11
A solution to this kind of equations is a pair of values that make the equality true. They always have an infinite number of solutions.
In the example, x = 5, y = 4 is a solution.
