STATISTICS
coefficient of variation
It is defined as the ratio of the standard deviation to the mean. It is a normalized measure of dispersion and it is used to compare the dispersion of populations.
Example: If the mean of set A is 10 and SA = 3, and the mean of the set B is 15 and SB = 4, the set A has more relative dispersion than B because CVA= 0,3 and CVB= 0,27.
